Parents could face jail and unlimited fines if they try to ‘influence’ their children against LGBT behaviour, under a draft bill published by the government.
Church leaders could also face prison for preaching, praying, or pastoring people in line with biblical sexual ethics. Medical professionals and others could be caught too.
A draft bill to outlaw so-called ‘conversion practices’ has been published by the government, with penalties of imprisonment and fines.
If passed in its current form, it would be a crime to attempt to influence an LGBT person not to engage in homosexual or transgender activity.
