The polling company which provided the underlying data for the ‘Quiet Revival’ report has admitted the statistics were flawed.
The original report, which suggested that more young people were showing an interest in Christianity, was published by the Bible Society.
But now the polling company behind the data, YouGov, says the data can no longer be regarded as a reliable source of information about the spiritual landscape in Britain.
YouGov’s Chief Executive Officer Stephan Shakespeare has personally apologised to the Bible Society.
