Redemption accomplished and applied: Geoff Thomas defends Limited Atonement at the Wessex Conference

The preacher at this year’s Wessex conference, held in February at Spring Road Evangelical Church in Southampton, was Geoff Thomas.

In the first session, ‘Redemption Accomplished’, Mr Thomas focused on the centrality of the cross as seen in 1 Corinthians 2:2, but asked what is its purpose and the extent of its achievement. What was God’s intention? Limited atonement is good news because it doesn’t just make sinners saveable, it makes them saved.
