Over the last 21 years, Countesthorpe Baptist Church has been through a process of returning to its historic Calvinistic Baptist roots. Our former pastor, Aubrey Vaughan (who stepped down in 2024), led the church through this process.
During Aubrey’s ministry, the church left the Baptist Union, adopted the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith, and sought formal communion with like-minded churches by joining the Association of Confessional Baptist Churches.
