Second panel member recused from Christian’s Employment Appeal case

A second person has been recused from an Employment Appeal Tribunal panel considering the case of a Christian mother, Kristie Higgs, who was sacked for questioning her children’s sex education lessons.

There were concerns that Andrew Morris may be biased because of his former role as Assistant General Secretary of National Education Union (NEU).

During his time in office the NEU consistently took a strong position in favour of making Relationships and Sex Education mandatory in primary schools.
