In April, friends of Dayspring Free Church gathered to celebrate ten years of faithful ministry and service from our pastor, Trevor Thomas, and his wife, Manuela.
Stuart Olyott brought a stirring gospel address called ‘The message we love’, perfectly capturing the heart of Trevor’s ministry. In the afternoon, Mr Olyott reminded the congregation that ‘Prayer is helplessness’.
Dayspring’s roots run deep. Formed from the historic Wappenham (1860) and Slapton (1844) chapels, the congregation has been shaped by generations of believers, strengthened during times of theological upheaval by the ministry of Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones, and united as one church in 1976.
