During a very cold and snowy week in January 2019, I spent a week visiting Aberdeen, mapping out an area called Woodside in preparation for the beginning of Grace Baptist Church Aberdeen.
In March of that year I made the move with my family. A community centre was booked for meetings in an area ripe for evangelism. Five other believers were present, zealous and ready to begin a church planting work.
We constituted with just six members, and although the first year was incredibly challenging and a steep learning curve, it was a cherished time.
