Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders is attempting to limit drag shows, drag queen storytime, and other ‘prurient’ events from ‘public spaces’ in a new bill which she says will protect children.
Arkansas Senate Bill 43 is aimed at placing restrictions on where drag performances can take place.
The bill’s primary sponsors, Sen. Gary Stubblefield and Rep. Mary Bentley, have said the bill aims to protect children from sexual content.
