Andy Burnham has recently been confirmed as the new leader of the Labour Party, and therefore the new Prime Minister.
He has been in parliament previously, being first elected in 2001. And he has also been in government, so therefore he has a parliamentary voting record on various issues stretching back some time.
He has previously held Cabinet posts including Culture Secretary and Health Secretary before becoming Mayor of Greater Manchester in 2017. His ministerial career focussed mainly on health, culture, and local government.
