About 75 young people aged 16 to 25 gathered at Root Hill Farm near Dorking in the Surrey hills for the annual Root Hill Youth camp in August.

The main speaker this year was James Tredgett from London City Mission. James first came to camp in 2008 as a reluctant teenager who was ‘dragged along’ by his older brother John.

In six helpful sessions, James took us through the book of Esther, showing us how God works for his people through all things, and how God’s people must step up and stand out in this dark world we live in. James also spoke for one evening about his work in Hackney for LCM.
