Reall, the UK charity dedicated to alleviating living conditions in slums throughout the developing world, has unveiled a new strategy to help counter the world’s poverty crisis.

The charity, formerly known as Homeless International, supports the development of specially selected, community-based enterprises to deliver affordable housing and basic services in a sustainable manner, in many of Africa and Asia’s slum communities.

According to statistics from Reall, one in five of the world’s population will be living in slums by 2020. More than 200,000 people arrive in cities across the world each day, 90 per cent of whom are forced to live in slums.
