School of evangelism
Christianity Explored (CE) returned to its church of origin, All Soul’s, Langham Place, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its first official publication.
Speaking at the All Soul’s School of Evangelism conference, founder of CE Rico Tice presented an overview of how the ministry has developed over the past ten years. He then introduced a series of guests who shared the impact of CE both in their lives and the lives of others.
These included Stephen James and Gillian Pegler, who updated the conference on CE materials being developed for use in prisons. Mr Tice then invited conference delegates to share cupcakes arranged in the form of a number 10 — a very popular move!
The particular highlight of CE’s ministry this year has been the launch of the third edition, condensed to 7 sessions from 10, reshot and rebranded. CE has also released an iPhone app to help Christians share their faith in one-to-one conversations.
Ian Roberts, chief executive of CE, said, ‘CE is entering its second decade in robust shape. The new edition has exceeded expectations and we will look to build on this success in the years ahead’.
