Students are being cancelled for lawfully sharing their views at UK university campuses, according to campaigners.

As a result, a petition by advocacy group ADF UK has called on the government to ‘defend’ students and academics and to keep universities and colleges as places where freedom of expression and thought can prevail.

ADF said the government needs to pass the Higher Education Bill, and has set up a petition on its website to garner 10,000 signatories to attach to its open letter to the government.
