A former soldier is being prosecuted in criminal court for praying silently near an abortion clinic in Bournemouth.
Adam Smith-Connor is charged with praying on 24 November 2022 near an abortion facility on Orphir Road in Bournemouth.
The clinic is within an ‘abortion facility censorship zone’, also known as a ‘buffer zone’, where protests against abortion are banned.
In the past, Smith-Connor had paid for his ex-girlfriend to have an abortion – a decision he now deeply regrets.
